Terms of use
These terms set the conditions for using the NEGENTROPY Forum (forum.negentropy.it.kr, the "forum") run by NEGENTROPY (the "team").
1. The service
The forum is a free community for NEGENTROPY games and HCl Edition. Anyone can read it. You need an account to post, comment, like or report.
2. Accounts
- You must be 14 or older to sign up, and you need to confirm your email address.
- One person, one account. Keep your password to yourself. The team is not responsible for problems caused by a member's careless handling of their password.
- The team may refuse or close an account registered with someone else's email address or used to impersonate someone.
3. Rights and responsibility for posts
- Copyright in a post stays with the person who wrote it. The team uses posts only as far as needed to run the forum (showing, storing, backing up and searching them within the forum).
- Posts are public, so they may appear in search engines.
- If the team wants to feature a post outside the forum (main site, social media, Discord, etc.), we will get the author's consent first.
- Only post other people's work or personal information with the permission of the rights holder or the person concerned. The member who wrote a post is responsible for it.
4. Moderation and restrictions
- The team may hide or delete posts that break the house rules or the law.
- Depending on how serious a violation is, the team may restrict an account for a period or permanently, and will tell the member the reason and the length. If you disagree, email contact@negentropy.it.kr.
5. Reporting infringement
If a post infringes your rights (privacy, defamation, copyright, etc.), email us the post's address and the reason. The team will act under the procedures set by Korean law, for example by hiding the post.
6. Leaving
You can delete your account any time in account settings. Your account details are deleted without delay; your posts and comments stay under the name "Former member". Delete anything you want removed before you leave. If something needs removing after you leave, email us and we will look into it.
7. Changes and interruptions
The service may pause for maintenance or server problems. If the team ends the service, we will announce it in the Announcements board 30 days in advance.
8. Limits of liability
The forum is provided free of charge. Unless the team acted intentionally or negligently, the team is not responsible for interruptions caused by natural disasters or hosting failures, for disputes between members, or for damage caused by posts members upload.
9. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we will post the changes and the effective date in the Announcements board 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before if the change is unfavourable to members.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
